Scandalized by Ivy Owens

This book in 3 words: Steamy. Addictive. Romantic.

Georgia, Gigi, Ross is chasing a massive news story and stumbles upon a childhood friend in the process. Gigi and Alec have a hot one night stand, that naturally, turns into so much more.

I started this book one evening and absolutely had to finish it. I tried to set it down but it felt like it was calling my name, giving me a bookish side eye; I had to finish it.

Highlights:

1. This book is hot. HOTTTTTTIE HOT HOT.

2. I truly adored the characters, main and tertiary. Georgia is my fave. She's smart, interesting, and authentic. I love the details we get on her job and how much it means to her. Alec is WONDERFUL. I bet he makes the list of top book boyfriends of 2022.

3. Moments where I felt like my cheeks were going to revolt from how big I was smiling. Just a collection of very swoony and funny moments.

4. The themes are heavy and important. This isn't your standard romance. There are some triggers you should check out before you pick this up.

5. It felt incredibly quick without jumbling the plot and pace.

6. I went into it blind and it certainly delivered. I definitely recommend.
